December 1 is World AIDS Day, a day to unite in the fight to end the HIV epidemic, support people living with HIV and honor those who have lost their life.

This year, the focus is on global commitment to deliver quality, people-centered HIV prevention and treatment services that create and sustain impact.  We must strengthen the capacity and resilience of communities and health systems to address HIV prevention services in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The US Department of Health and Human Services and its partners remain committed to accelerating efforts to end the HIV Epidemic

HIV/AIDS is one example of a serious health condition that may qualify as a disability. Students seeking accommodation for their own health condition should reach out to Student Disability Services, and employees (faculty, staff and student) seeking accommodation should reach out to Accessibility & Disability Services.
