The research focus of this group lies in the area where microeconomic theory meets microeconomic data and covers a wide number of topics in this area – from labor economics, to public economics/public policy to econometrics and computational methods.

The purpose of this group is to enhance research through opportunities to include experimentation with multiple research ideas, awareness of the latest literature and close interaction with colleagues. This group seeks the stimulation of ideas brought about by interacting with a diverse group of faculty working in applied econometrics. The group’s main composition will consist of members from the economics and the public policy departments but welcomes participants from other departments.
