Dear UMBC,
Thank you for delaying opening until noon. I mean that in a genuine and sincere way. I appreciate that you were looking out for the safety of everyone.
Your contractors are doing an insufficient job clearing the pathways. Specifically, they are doing an insufficient job clearing the handicap accessible routes between buildings. My disability is relatively minor (back and knees, but I can still walk), but there are others on campus who would likely be massively hindered by the lack of cleared pathways between buildings.
Eventually the unsatisfactory job that the contractors are doing will reflect poorly on you, UMBC. Please make sure they do a better job.
