Jury Duty?

So, I have received a letter from Anne Arundel County regarding jury duty. I have already filled out the form along with a letter explaining why I should be excused from it. Have any of you been called to jury duty? I would like to know if the myUMBC community has been called.
From what I see, $15 compensation is not worth the taxi trip (which is more than $15) over to Annapolis, I don't have a car and I don't have a driver's license, and I have classes on the day of duty. Yeah, I'm going to decline.
