ASCOM will be participating in a video exchange collaboration with Whoval, a famous denim manufacturer located in Kurashiki, in Okayama prefecture in Japan. Our officers will present about the process of indigo textile dyeing and the history of Kojima Jeans Street in Kurashiki. Then, through video exchange we would ask any interested students to create follow up questions in the form of a video (either in Japanese or English) to send to Whoval. Then, Whoval's representatives will send a return video with answers to any questions students may have.
