The UMBC Career Center's Fall 2020 Career & Internship Fair is virtual! Pre-Register TODAY!
UMBC’s first virtual Fall Career & Internship Fair will be taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020. We want to make sure you are registered, prepared, and comfortable with this new format prior to the day of the fair so you can make the most of your time connecting with employers over live group chat and video.
WHY SHOULD YOU PRE-REGISTER?The pre-registration process will give you the opportunity to complete your profile and upload your resume. Employers will be able to search candidates based on the information provided on this registration form prior to and during the fair.Pre-registered students will have early access to view attending organizations and review their job opportunities starting Monday, Sept. 21.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROFILE?You will want to have a current resume to upload to your profile.PUT YOUR BEST PAW FORWARD!
The following micro-sessions are designed to prepare you on how to make a good first impression and pique the interest of the recruiters you meet and teach you about how to create an eye-catching resume! Micro Session: How to Write a Stand-out Resume Micro Session: Perfect Your Pitch (30-Second Commercial) Interested in having your resume reviewed before the Fall Virtual Career & Intern Fair? ************************************************************************* Please note you MUST have your resume approved by a Career Center staff member to apply to positions posted in UMBCworks. To schedule an appointment, click on "Schedule Appointment" from the UMBCworks homepage or call 410-455-2216. We are located in Math/Psychology Room 201. Appointments can be made by calling 410-455-2216. We now have online scheduling too!
