Here are the honorees of the BBJ's Tech 10 awards

The Baltimore Business Journal has selected 10 professionals who are building a robust tech community in Greater Baltimore to be the recipients of our 2017 Tech 10 award.

Tech 10 seeks to honor those who stand out among the rest for their local contributions to the technology industry and the community as a whole. The 10 men and women featured in the slideshow below have invested themselves, their companies, their time and often, their money into developing a new reality for Baltimore.

Our honorees are CEOs and founders of tech companies, leaders of incubators, investors at venture capital firms and more.

They were selected after a months-long nomination process during which community members could submit a local individual for consideration. The BBJ staff met to discuss the nominees, and brought their own suggestions to the table as well to come up with our 10 honorees.

We will feature the honorees in the Sept. 22 issue of the BBJ, and all are invited to join us at a celebratory event on Sept. 21 where Jen Meyer, CEO of Betamore and a Tech 10 winner last year, will be the keynote speaker.
