IBM Z & Social Security Administration Recruitment Session
Power the systems that power the world!
Thursday, February 26, 2026 · 5 - 6:30 PM
IBM Z is the branch of IBM that builds and develops mainframe computers — the ultra-powerful systems behind millions of daily transactions worldwide. Every time someone makes a bank withdrawal, completes an online purchase, checks into a flight, or interacts with a government system, there’s a good chance an IBM Z mainframe is running the process.
These machines are engineered for unmatched security, speed, and reliability, which is why they’re used by the world’s largest banks, airlines, retailers, and federal agencies. And as these industries continue to expand, they’re actively searching for new mainframers to join their talent pipelines.
IBM will also be joined by members of the Social Security Administration who are actively looking to fill roles working on this critical IBM Z platform within their organization.
This session will introduce you to:
• The essential role IBM Z plays in global technology
• How mainframes support mission-critical systems across industries
• The IBM Z Xplore learning platform, where you can start building industry-relevant skills today
• Pathways to internships and jobs in one of the most stable and high-demand tech domains
Whether you're exploring career options or looking to specialize in a technology that powers the world's most influential organizations, this is a chance to get ahead and stand out.
