Looking to make an impact through education?
Whether you’re exploring teaching, school leadership, or student-facing roles, a career in independent schools offers the chance to shape young minds, build inclusive communities, and grow professionally in meaningful ways. The AIMS Annual Job Fair brings together mission-driven schools and passionate candidates who are ready to turn purpose into practice.
For decades, the Association of Independent MD & DC Schools (AIMS) has demonstrated a strong and intentional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion across its member school communities. A key part of this mission is expanding and strengthening the pipeline of talented educators and administrators from diverse backgrounds.
The Annual AIMS Job Fair provides an excellent opportunity for students and graduates interested in careers in education to connect with independent schools across Maryland and Washington, DC. Attendees will have the chance to meet representatives from approximately 40 AIMS member schools, learn about school cultures, and explore current and future career opportunities.
There are currently nearly 230 open positions posted on the AIMS website, with new opportunities added daily, spanning teaching, administrative, and staff roles.
