Happy Women's History!

This month is a time to recognize the progress women have made, honor the barriers that have been broken, and acknowledge the work that still lies ahead. Stories & Success was created to intentionally bring those conversations to our campus — to give graduate students direct access to women who have navigated advance d degrees, leadership roles, and competitive industries.

Hosted by the Office of Graduate Student Life and the Career Center, this evening is designed with graduate students in mind — though all are welcome to attend.

Join us on Monday, March 23, from 5–8PM in the Skylight Room (The Commons, 3rd Floor) for a keynote address from UMBC President Dr. Sheares Ashby, followed by a dynamic panel discussion featuring four accomplished women leaders who understand the graduate journey firsthand. The evening will conclude with an interactive Q&A and networking, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with both the President and panelists.

Business casual attire is encouraged. A professional photo booth will be available for those interested in updated headshots.

Light finger foods and refreshments will be served, including Stursi, the Official Mocktail of Chesapeake Arena, developed by panelist Alexandra "Lexx" Mills.
