Discover the power of cloud technology at the AWS YouthTech Program hosted right here at UMBC!
Space is limited and HANDSHAKE REGISTRATION is required. After registering on Handshake, you will be prompted via email to complete a brief Pre‑Event Survey for our AWS organizers.
This immersive experience is designed to introduce UMBC students to AWS Cloud fundamentals while giving you hands‑on exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools used across the tech industry.
You’ll also hear directly from AWS professionals during an employee panel, and the top three winners of our interactive Kahoot challenge will receive an introduction to an AWS Recruiter - a great opportunity to get your foot in the door!
What to Expect:
- Cloud Fundamentals Presentation – Learn the core concepts behind AWS Cloud.
- AI/ML Presentation – Explore how AI and Machine Learning are built and deployed on AWS.
- Kahoot Challenge – Compete for a chance to be introduced to an AWS Recruiter.
- Hands‑On Workshop – Bring your laptop and follow along with guided exercises.
- AWS Employee Panel – Hear from AWS professionals working across several technical areas.
