          <div class="html-content"><div>The National Park Service Climate Change Response Program and the University of Washington are pleased to announce paid summer internship positions to address climate change in national parks! </div><div><br></div><div>The George Melendez Wright Initiative for Young Leaders in Climate Change (YLCC) offers twelve positions for the summer of 2016 in national parks and program offices all around the country -- from Florida to Alaska, and Washington DC to American Samoa. Applications will be accepted until <span><span>12:00 PM PST</span></span> on <span><span>January 28, 2016</span></span>.</div><div> </div><div>Quick Facts and Deadlines: </div><div>• The YLCC is managed cooperatively with the University of Washington </div><div>• Internship opportunities and application forms are posted on <a href="http://parksclimateinterns.org/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">parksclimateinterns.org</a> </div><div>• Internships are 12 weeks (40 hours/week) during the summer </div><div>• Interns are paid $15/hour plus benefits </div><div>• Applications for the summer 2016 season are accepted from <span><span>December 7, 2015 until January 28, 2016</span></span><br></div><div><br></div><div>Eligible students are highly accomplished graduate students and upper-level undergraduates (current juniors and seniors). Applicants must be US citizens or nationals, and be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Students who complete their internship and academic requirements with a high degree of success are subsequently eligible to be hired by the NPS, Fish &amp; Wildlife Service, and Bureau of Land Management without having to compete for jobs.</strong></div><div><br></div><div>For further information, list of available internships, and application directions please  visit the program website: <a href="http://parksclimateinterns.org/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">parksclimateinterns.org</a> </div><div><br></div></div>
