Over the last several weeks, we have gone into room 123 to use the facility as a skype room and have found the computer totally disconnected from the wall mounted monitor, the wireless connection and the speaker/microphone.
Under no circumstances should you be doing anything with that computer other than turing it on to use.
If you are using a laptop in the room and wish to use the screen on the wall, we have wireless solutions. You do not have to use the HDMI cable to plug in directly to the monitor.
If you are unsure of how to use the room please ask.
We are scheduling grad student interviews at specific times in that room and people messing with the setup and function of the facility is causing way more complications than you can imagine.
As always if you don't know what you are doing, ask someone!
