The CIMBRE Symposium
Featuring CIMBRE Collaborative Speaker Series and Posters
The inaugural Center for Integrated Mathematical and Biological sciences Research and Education (CIMBRE) symposium will be held on April 24th 2:30-6pm on the UMBC campus. This event will feature the CIMBRE Collaborative Speaker Series talk by Stephanie Chung and Artie Sherman, long time collaborators at NIDDK/NIH (Lecture Hall 1 - 2:30-4pm - "Innovative mathematical solutions to tackle 21st century nutrition challenges in pediatric obesity and type 2 diabetes"). There will be a reception with student poster presentations and light refreshments following the talk held in the Skylight Room in UMBC Commons (4-6pm).
