Join us for this week's Wednesday Workshop! CNMS Student Success Coach Emma Barnaby will be talking about how to study properly for your STEM classes in college (spoiler alert: even if you did study in high school, you should probably be making some changes)!
A lot of first-year students at UMBC find that the methods they used in high school don't work for them in college, or that they need to step up their game. We'll talk you through the before, during, and after class work that you should be doing for both content-based courses (think biology) and problem-based courses (chemistry, math, and physics).
As always, we will have SNACKS for you! Join us from 12-1 on Wednesday February 26th for this fun and useful session.
