  <Title>Let's Talk about UMBC's Future</Title>

    <span>by David Hoffman and Craig Berger</span><br><span><br></span><span>For years, the UMBC community has looked ahead to 2016 as an important moment in our evolution and growth: the 50th anniversary. A generation ago, plans were put in place that have helped to guide UMBC's journey and shape the way we talk about our community ever since.</span><br><span><br></span><span>Now UMBC leaders are developing a new Strategic Plan that will help shape this institution's life and growth for a generation to come. Four Strategtic Planning Committees and one working group have conducted extensive research in preparation for developing recommendations in the next few months.
