For years, the UMBC community has looked ahead to 2016 as an important moment in our evolution and growth: the 50th anniversary. A generation ago, plans were put in place that have helped to guide UMBC's journey and shape the way we talk about our community ever since.

Now UMBC leaders are developing a new Strategic Plan that will help shape this institution's life and growth for a generation to come. Four Strategtic Planning Committees and one working group have conducted extensive research in preparation for developing recommendations in the next few months. The committees will share their findings with the UMBC community at an informal, interactive gallery on Monday, February 9th, from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the UC Ballroom.
