Marie desJardins, professor of computer science and electrical engineering, is working to implement a new high school computing class across the state of Maryland to attract more women and underrepresented minorities to the field. She teaches a continuing education course to Maryland high school teachers to provide training for teaching AP Computer Science Principles.
