The Provost Office at UMBC has established a faculty award program that recognizes excellence among tenured faculty in all three colleges. Awardees were selected based on the promise and strength of their scholarship and teaching at UMBC. At the inaugural COEIT Celebration on May 6, 2018, the recipients of these awards were recognized for their contributions to the mission of the university.
