About the Retriever Leadership Institute:
The
Retriever Leadership Institute (RLI) is a free 5-week leadership
development workshop series just for UMBC undergraduate students.
Participants will meet once per week for 1.5 hours with their peer
facilitators in one of three contextualized cohorts: Commuter
Retrievers, Transfer Retrievers, and Residential Retrievers. During
RLI, students will engage in meaningful learning about their values as a
leader, working in teams, managing conflict, social identity, and much
more.
In Spring 2018, there
are three cohorts to choose from (you must fall into one of these three
cohorts to participate). RLI trainings start the week of March 5th and
finish the week of April 9th (RLI will not meet during Spring Break).
The weekly track meeting times are listed below.
Transfer Retriever Cohort: Meets Mondays from 7:00-8:30pm (March 5-April 9) in Harbor Hall MPR
Residential Retriever Cohort: Meets Tuesdays from 7:30-9:00pm (March 6-April 10) in Harbor Hall MPR
Commuter Retriever Cohort: Meets Wednesdays from 11:00am-12:30pm (March 7-April 11) in Harbor Hall MPR
To participate, you must be available to attend all of the sessions of the Retriever Leadership Institute.
This application is due at 11:59pm on February 25th.
