Women in STEM Discussion Group
Guest facilitator: Maria Sanchez
A discussion group for UMBC's women in STEM. In our October meeting, we will discuss the topic of "imposter syndrome,"
how it affects women in STEM fields, and ways to combat it. Our guest
facilitator will be Maria Sanchez, Director of Education and Outreach in
the College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT).
Each
discussion group will take place on the third Friday of the month from
12 to 1 pm. Guest facilitators (staff and faculty in STEM fields at
UMBC) change each month.
