We welcome back UMBC alum Adam J. Kurtz to share his insights and experiences from graduate to social media maven, indie artist extraordinaire, and successful author.

"Talking About Feelings" is an informal lecture focused on helping liberal-arts students harness their creative energy, make use of resources when they have access to them, and maybe laugh a little at how scary life can feel when you don’t quite know what the future holds.

Adam speaks frankly about what it means to make work in 2016, find an audience and do it yourself.

Adam will also be signing copies of his latest book Pick Me Up after the lecture. You can purchase the book on Amazon or his website ahead of time, or purchase a copy at the event!
