ORPC will hosting a webinar on recognizing Elicitation in Academia on April 2nd at 12pm.
Elicitation is the attempt to glean information from someone that may not be public knowledge, such as unpublished research or intellectual property. Unfortunately, it can exist in academia and would be considered outside of the normal academic exchange process.
