I had a conversation with a couple of group members who suggested inviting some local high school teachers to come and talk about teaching CS to beginning students at the high school level, and about their experiences as teachers. What do you think? If you would be interested in such an event, please reply to this story and/or email me directly, and let me know what a good time would be. Midday probably wouldn't work for the teachers, so perhaps we could do an evening event. I imagine that I could come up with some funds to spring for pizza.
