The second annual Maryland Computing Education Summit is here! TOMORROW, Thursday, April 27th, over one hundred computer science teachers, school principals, legislators, and professors will meet at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) to discuss the status of computer science education in Maryland.
UMBC is organizing the event and needs student volunteers to help with note-taking and escorting attendees to the different workshop rooms. The event lasts from 7:30am - 4pm, but if you can only come for one or two of the 1.5 hour slots, that's fine! Lunch will be provided for students who are available between 12:10-1:20pm.
For those of you who are interested in K-12 computer science, this is a great opportunity to learn more about what's available and network with the community!
