---Hello Dr. desJardins,
I
would really appreciate it if you could forward this job opening to the
computer science undergraduate mailing list and anywhere else that
would be appropriate. It's a great opportunity for recent graduates who
don't have anything lined up yet!
Below is the official job description:
Mount Saint Joseph High School, a Catholic school for boys in Baltimore, has an opening for a high school Computer Science and Robotics teacher for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Applicant must have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and have fluency or background in the Java programming language. Experience with basic robotics and engineering is preferred.
Familiarity with C++, Python, and MATLAB computer languages is favorable.
Applicants should send cover letter and resume to Robert Peace at rpeace@msjnet.edu. No phone calls please.
As
this was my job for the past two years, I can say firsthand that MSJ is
a great environment to teach in. The administration is supportive, the
teachers are fantastic, and most importantly, the students are
passionate about learning. Feel free to contact me directly (wlucas1@umbc.edu) if you have any questions.
Thank you!
William Lucas
