    <Title>GAO Spring internships</Title>

          <div class="html-content"><div>The U.S. <a href="https://www.gao.gov/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Government Accountability Office</a> (<strong>GAO</strong>) is hiring information technology (IT) interns for spring 2023.</div><div><br></div><div>Often called the "congressional watchdog," GAO is an independent, nonpartisan agency that advises Congress about ways to improve government.  IT interns will have the opportunity to be a part of GAO's <a href="https://www.gao.gov/about/careers/our-teams/ISTS" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Information Systems and Technology Services team </a>(ISTS) that manages GAO information systems, IT services, and supports business improvement initiatives.</div><div><br></div><div>The internship is <strong>paid</strong> and has the potential to be converted to a permanent position at GAO. In addition, the internship can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. Applications for the internship closes next Wednesday, <strong>October 19</strong>.
