It includes faculty and students from four departments: CSEE, Information Systems, Mathematics &amp; Statistics, and Physics. It will pursue science-first approach to quantum technology development by emphasizing cutting-edge research and preparing a diverse, quantum-ready workforce.</div><div><br></div><div><img src="https://www.csee.umbc.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/659/2025/01/1738093675886.jpeg" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto;"></div><div><br></div><div>The twelve CSEE faculty that are part of QSI are Nick Allgood, Rajasekhar Anguluri, Gary Carter, Richard Chang, John Dorband, Milton Halem, Anupam Joshi, Sam Lomonaco, Curtis Menyuk, Alioune Niang, Alan Sherman, Ergun Simsek, and Mohamed Younis.</div></div>
