This position is ideal for a co-op candidate to learn about US Navy training systems, warfare requirements, and maritime operations. All work is directly applicable to real-world Navy systems and is performed on state-of-the-art equipment. Required Credentials: Must be currently enrolled in a four year college or university, working towards a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, software engineering, electrical engineering, or related scientific field and eligible to participate in co-op program during the summer and fall semester of 2010, 40 hours per week. The goal of the program is to present an overview of research being performed by the various NICBR partners, through presentations and laboratory tours, and to provide information on educational and employment opportunities.
