If you have trouble connecting to eduroam, we encourage you to update your eduroam configuration by first forgetting the wireless network, then adding it again. Please see this FAQ for more information on setting up eduroam.

Eduroam is the preferred wireless network on campus and provides greater access to campus services and the Internet. All traffic is encrypted with WPA2 and once configured on your device, all settings will be automatically saved for future use. Eduroam can be used on computers, smartphones and other mobile devices.

For most people, you will select UMBC and then be prompted to enter your login information. Family and visitors with special access will continue to use the Facebook and Google login options.

This change will be part of several changes to UMBC’s login infrastructure over the next year to allow us to stay on top of evolving security standards and new technologies. Many of these changes will be invisible, but there will be some more significant changes to the login experience that we will notify you of as they approach.

<Tagline>DoIT is Preparing for Staff to Return to Campus</Tagline>
