UMBC Alum Maia Schechter Graces the Kennedy Center with Choreography
Very talented and recent alum Maia Schechter ‘18 will have her dance, Now Elsewhere performed on the Kennedy Center stage. She was a Linehan Artist Scholar, and her works have been selected by the American College Dance Festival for finals. The dance represents the emotions surrounding loss, and it will be performed by six UMBC alumni and students.
