On Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the UMBC Library Gallery, the Ambassadors to the U.S. from the Czech Republic, Estonia, and Slovenia will participate in a moderated discussion. The ambassadors will speak to their own countries' journeys to democracy and freedom after the Cold War ended 30 years ago, human rights as an EU core value, opposition to the death penalty, etc. This will be followed by discussion, Q&A. All interested students are invited to attend.
