Advising and Registration Clearance Notices Coming Soon
Advanced Registration for the Spring 2021 semester is upon us. In the next few days, ECON BA and FIEC BS students will be receiving instructions for advising and registration clearance. Keep an eye on your UMBC email account. You will receive a notice with information identifying your advisor, either a faculty member or your department advisor, and their contact information. It is UP TO YOU to contact your advisor to receive further instructions, such as meeting requirements and scheduling for advising.
All students must be cleared before they can enroll in classes beginning November 3rd.
Advanced Registration Schedule
Once you are cleared by your faculty or department advisor, you will be eligible to schedule classes at the appointed time. Eligibility order is by class rank / credit count. For example, students with the most credits will register for classes first, students with the least credits will register toward the end of the advanced registration period.

Using the number of credits you have achieved, you can then find the starting date and time which you may register for classes. Remember: you have to be cleared by your assigned advisor before you can enroll in classes.
Take Note
Classes can fill up fast - including Econ classes that you might need. It is wise to enroll in classes as soon as possible. On November 23rd, Open Registration begins, which means you will be registering for classes along with all incoming students.
