Dr. Keisha Allen and Dr. Jiyoon Lee together with Dr. Kerri Evans (Social Work) have been awarded a Hrabowski Innovation Fund Grant to develop a board game focused on the immigrant experience in the United States from pre-kindergarten through higher education. The game will be implemented in a new course using gamification and roleplay to help advanced level UMBC students who will become service providers across multiple disciplines be prepared to advocate for inclusion and dismantle racism in schools.
