This Coffee and Conversation is part of a series of forums jointly hosted by a nonpartisan committee containing members of the SGA, the UMBC College Democrats, and the UMBC College Republicans. It will be centered around the issue of healthcare, both as a national issue and an issue that relates specifically to Marylanders. Through this conversation, we hope to bring the UMBC community together and encourage them to further engage in the political process. Exposure to different opinions and honest discussions about how to solve healthcare-related problems facing our society will strengthen campus civil society and allow everyone involved to better understand their own beliefs.
