Please join the Department of English on Thursday, April 16th at 7:30pm for a special event to honor Mr. Walter Lomax and the 5 year anniversary of the passing of the Maryland Walter Lomax Act. The event will be held in PAHB 132.
We are excited to host Mr. Lomax, elected officials, members of the Maryland state government, and others integral in the passing of the Act which compensates wrongly convicted and incarcerated individuals.
This event is open to all.
Presented by the Department of English, The School of Public Policy, The Dresher Center for the Humanities, and the Department of Political Science, the Department of American Studies, and the Shriver Center.
