Members,
Thank you for a successful Fall 2019 semester. With the help of each of you that attended our weekly meetings, PitchDay or multiple fundraisers, we were able to achieve our goal of creating a strong entrepreneurial presence around campus.
In Spring 2020, we will be looking to expand our student organization. From 60 members, we hope to grow to 100+ on myUMBC. We plan to collaborate with other clubs and disciplines, host several workshops and provide more resources for students looking to create businesses. Most importantly, we want to create an environment for entrepreneurs to meet like-minded, ambitious students around campus.
For this expansion, we will be adding two positions, Lead PR and Lead Researcher to the UMBC Entrepreneurs Executive Board. Members should be willing to accommodate at least one hour each week in the Spring 2020 semester for executive board meetings. Members can expect to receive free custom merchandise throughout the semester and gain valuable experience in a high-growth startup/organization environment, and of course, add to your resume.
