This talk will discuss some of the key parts of a business plan and what it takes to develop a professional quality plan that is ready for investors. If you have an idea for a business and are looking for ways to fund it beyond asking your friends and family, this is the workshop for you. Jason is a wealth of knowledge and experience (pun intended) and will help you figure out your next steps. If you aren't sure of an idea, just love numbers and getting to know people, this will also be worth your time. 

October 29: Entrepreneurial Speaker Series with Aaron Altscher
(Noon, University Center 310) 
Aaron Altscher is the CEO of Handteq, and will be giving a talk, entitield "Crab Cakes and Tech Startups - That's What Maryland Does" gives you a glimpse into the boom of technology startups within the Baltimore region. Forbes Magazine has even rated Baltimore #2 of Best Cities for Technology Jobs. Companies with smart, young (mostly), and driven individuals or teams are springing up and veraciously creating solutions for problems facing such large industries as health care, data security, and education. These solutions even span to focused areas of interest in our daily consumer lives surrounding parking, local deals, and fitness.
