We are looking for three new SEAs to join our team next school year!
SEAs (Student Entreprneurship Ambassadors) serve as the student voice of the Alex. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ABCEI) and are advocates for entrepreneurship programs across campus.
SEAs help increase the awareness of the ABCEI by promoting events through social media and connecting with students in class, events and other programs. If you care about entrepreneurship and UMBC, this is a great way to get involved!
Responsibilities
- Commit 6-10 hours per month to assist with entrepreneurship events or extracurricular activities each semester.
- Attend ABCEI events and help out!
- Connect students to entrepreneurial opportunities at ABCEI by presenting program information in various classes across campus, tabling at events, and delivering presentations in their own classes about the ABCEI.
- Share about ABCEI on social media platforms.
- Promote the ENTR minor to fellow students and be available to answer questions and discuss how it can fit into students’ studies.

- Each Ambassador will receive an ABCEI swag bag with clothing, handouts, and more to wear to events.
- Upon completion of the 8 hours / month each semester, students will receive a $500 stipend
Eligibility
The SEA Program runs from September until the end of April. Students will be paid at the end of each semester. To be eligible to apply, students must be enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Minor. Students from all majors and class years are invited to apply!
