On top of that, Walk was acknowledged for achieving the largest dollar growth of any program in the top 30.</div><div><br></div><div>As Director, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, you will be responsible for driving the success of a large walk event. Leading a team of dynamic volunteer leaders, you will put your proven sales and relationship management skills to work achieving revenue goals through positive engagement with corporate and community volunteer leaders. As a recognized and enthusiastic community mobilizer and networker, you will exponentially increase brand awareness as you cultivate relationships with key C-suite corporate and community partners.</div><div><br></div><div>Your success at recruiting, coaching and empowering volunteers will ensure strong volunteer committee retention and succession planning that sets your event up for success for years to come. Dr. Bhargava has over 10 years of academic and professional experience in data collection and management of small and large-scale studies, development and implementation of research study protocols, conducting psychometric analyses using social science and health research data, and performing longitudinal statistical analyses, including structure equation modeling and multilevel modeling analyses. Additionally, Dr. Bhargava is experienced in conducting focus group interviews. Dr. Bhargava has several publications and presentations in the fields of psychology and nursing. Some of her work has been published in the Journal of Aging &amp; Mental Health, The Journals of Gerontology. Series B, Psychological Sciences and Social Sciences, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, PLOS One, and Gerontology.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Dr. Jennifer Craft Morgan</strong> is the Director of and Professor in the Gerontology Institute at Georgia State University. Her research focuses on jobs and careers, attempting to understand how policy, population, workplace and individual level factors shape how work is experienced and how work is organized across care settings. She is a national expert on recruitment, training, and retention of direct care workers. Dr. Morgan has led several major evaluation efforts focused on sharing lessons learned, in real-time, to inform and improve model development for practice and education-based intervention work. Her interdisciplinary research contributes to several disciplines including gerontology, health services, nursing, and sociology. She has published in high-ranking journals such as the The Gerontologist, and in top-tier specialty journals such as Social Science and Medicine, Work, Employment and Society, Health Services Research and Journal of the American Medical Association, as well as in more applied outlets intended to reach practitioners.</div></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Dr. Jamie Rausch</strong> is an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) on the Fort Wayne campus. Dr. Rausch’s program of research is focused on adipose tissue dysregulation through the effects of the adipokines: leptin and adiponectin that regulate inflammation. Rausch serves the university and nursing profession in several ways: at IUSON - Tenure Track Search &amp; Selection Committee Member, Fort Wayne Campus Faculty Development Coordinator, Fort Wayne Research &amp; Scholarly Activity Co-chair, Midwest Nurses Research Society Membership Committee Chair, in addition to many others. Dr. Rausch has presented at a variety of national and international conferences and has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
