UMBC is launching Retriever Essentials, a new faculty, staff, and student endeavor to tackle food insecurity in our community.
Retriever Essentials will provide students access to healthy foods, toiletries, and other essentials, all free of charge. Additionally, UMBC community members will have multiple ways to offer their support.

-Food Zones where students can anonymously pick up donated food and toiletries at multiple locations around campus
-The new 'Save a Swipe' program that allows students to donate unused meal swipes to those in need of them
