Golden Ticket Fall Kickoff
Overview
The Golden Ticket Program is a post-orientation initiative designed to support incoming first-generation students and their families as they transition into college life. Through this program, participants engage in interactive events that introduce them to the many resources, support systems, and opportunities available at our institution. Our goal is to help first-generation students feel empowered, connected, and confident as they embark on this new chapter.
Why “Golden Ticket”?
First-generation students are trailblazers—pioneers in their families forging a new path in higher education. Just like a golden ticket represents access to something extraordinary, this program symbolizes the incredible opportunities that await first-generation students at our institution.
The Golden Ticket Fall Kick-Off is our in-person welcome event for first-generation students and their families before the Fall semester begins. This gathering is designed to help students and their families connect with campus resources, learn about support initiatives for first-generation students, and establish a strong foundation for success.
