Yet again, we recovered two cars worth of food and plastic containers! We were able to donate bowls, donuts, and more to a local charity. Read our summary below:
What We Recovered: Donuts, salads, sandwiches, muffins, and more!
Estimated Weight of Food: 100-200 pounds!
Where It Went: My Brother's Keeper! They are a local Catholic charity in Baltimore that helps give their community the resources to get back on their feet. They provide 3 meals a day, mental health services, health wellness programs, and professional development!
Who Helped This Week: Angie and Brakenette
Any Issues?: There was not enough space in the car for everything, so we had to also use Brakenette's car. This delayed the recovery by over 30 minutes.
How To Get Involved: Come out to Commons at 4pm on Fridays to help with recoveries! Email lcav1@umbc.edu with questions and join our GroupMe: https://groupme.com/join_group/34279677/gGpJkv
