UMBC has a variety of programs and resources for students interested in careers in game development. For game programming, there is the Game Development track in Computer Science. For game art, there is the Animation and Interactive Media concentration in Visual Arts. For community, experience and resume building, there is the Game Developers Club.
Information on all three are available on the GAIM web site at http://gaim.umbc.edu. This group provides news, events and discussion related to all game development activities at UMBC.
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
