12-12:15pm - Officer elections for 2015-2016 school year
Officer positions available:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Public Relations Officer
Voting will take place at Friday's meeting and through an online survey for those who can't make Friday's meeting.
12:15-12:25pm - Guest Speaker: Sam Dupre, a current GES PhD Student
He will introduce himself and talk about how he researched grad programs and why he decided to go to grad school at UMBC.
His research interests include livelihood creation and empowerment; international sustainable natural resource management policy; forest community species dynamics, restoration, and degradation prevention.
12:25-12:40pm - Guest Speaker: Jeremiah Sawyer, Career Services Representative
He will talk about the services the Career Center offers students considering graduate school.
