Guest Speaker Recap- Jennifer Kunze

We have a few resources from Jennifer:

a blog post recapping the latest news on sewage backups - they are hoping to have a public hearing again in January
the Google group for statewide work on trash incineration and zero waste issues - people can request to join there, or can email Jennifer at jkunze@cleanwater.org and she will add you
Notes from the most recent meetings of that group. The group meets every other Sunday at 4:30 on this Zoom line; the next one will be 11/29, and focused on strategy around the committees the state bills they're tracking will go through
the description of our internship program. It's a very informal program - they are looking for folks who are interested in working on the projects with Clean Water Action and support them in doing research and engaging in governmental processes.
Baltimore County solid waste work group, they're meeting for the first time this Thursday! If anybody does end up interested in joining that meeting, please put them in touch with me - I've just started an email chain with some local advocates about it and we'll have a debrief with some of the Frederick County activists who have a lot of experience dealing with the Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority, so I'd love to loop folks in on that!
