-President
-Vice President
-Senate Speaker (must be an elected Senator to run)
-Treasurer
-Historian
-Chair of the Graduate Assistant Advisory Committee (GAAC)
-Chair of the Graduate Experiences, Achievements and Research Symposium (GEARS)
-Chair of the Legislative Concerns Committee
- Chair of the Equity of Funds Committee
- Chair of the Graduate Student Success Committee 

Please nominate qualified (must have had 12 graduate student credits and completed one academic year) candidates using this form. 

Registration will close Friday, March 24th, 2023
The election will be held on April 6th, 2023 during the Senate Meeting.

Calling all graduate student leaders!

The Graduate Student Association is looking for Senators to represent all graduate students in the GSA Senate. 

Being a Senator is an important and prestigious position in university shared governance. Senators are the representatives that dictate the operation of the GSA as well as give a powerful voice to graduate students and graduate student concerns with administration, legislators and the university. 

Registration will close on Friday, March 24, 2023
Positions will be voted upon during our Senate Meeting April 6, 2023

What are Writing Accountability Group, or WAGs at UMBC?

  • What: Writing Accountability Groups (WAGs) are voluntary and facilitated by fellow UMBC graduate students

  • Who: WAGs are comprised of a group of graduate students (usually 4-8 participants per group) interested in developing writing habits and accountability 

  • Why: Develop habits of writing every day for a short, manageable period of time by setting goals and being accountable to WAG peers 

  • When: WAG groups meet once a week for 60-90 minutes for 10-12 weeks. The group finds a weekly time mutually convenient to all group members.

  • Where: The group decides on a mutually convenient location to meet, whether in person or online via WebEx or other video conferencing platform

We are excited to announce that we are currently hiring for the Tech head, Creative Head, and various other roles within our student organization at the University of Baltimore County. Our organization is dedicated to fostering the interest of students aspiring to be future product managers and providing a common platform for students from various faculties an opportunity to learn from peers with the same mindset and make them ready for future roles as a product managers, and we are looking for motivated individuals who share our passion to join our team.

The Various role that we are recruiting for are responsible for showcasing creative, accounting, web designing, and marketing skills. we are looking for graduate students at umbc to fill this positions.
