          <p>Date: Monday, November 3, 2025<br>Time: 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM<br>Location: The Commons, Room 318</p>
          <p>What to Expect:<br>This introductory workshop will help you understand what anxiety is and will introduce foundational skills, including activities and breathing exercises, to start building your personal anxiety management toolbox.</p>

          <li><p>This is a non-clinical series from Retriever Integrated Health—no appointments are needed!</p></li>
          <li><p>Open to any UMBC community member (students, faculty, staff).</p></li>
          <li><p>Can't make all three? No problem! Joining even one session can provide valuable skills.</p></li>

    <p>GSA is looking for <strong>two dedicated graduate students</strong> to
    co-chair the <strong>Elections Committee</strong> and oversee the 2026–2027 GSA
    elections. This is a great leadership opportunity—especially for those
    graduating in 2026!</p>
    
    <p><strong>Eligibility:</strong></p>
    
    <ul>
     <li>One
         co-chair must be a <strong>current GSA Senator or Executive Council member</strong>.</li>
     <li>One
         co-chair must be a <strong>graduate student not currently serving</strong> as a GSA
         officer, senator, or committee chair.<br>
         <em>Note:</em> Serving on this committee means you cannot run for any other
         GSA positions in Spring 2026.</li>
    </ul>
    
    <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
    
    <ul>
     <li>Oversee
         all aspects of the election process.</li>
     <li>Establish
         and review election policies and eligibility criteria.</li>
     <li>Vet
         candidates and resolve election-related concerns.</li>
     <li>Ensure
         transparent publication of results.</li>
    </ul>
    
    <p><strong>Commitment:</strong></p>
    
    <ul>
     <li>Start:
         <strong>November 15, 2025</strong> | End: <strong>April 2026</strong>
    </li>
     <li>~5 hours/week,
         including meetings every Tuesday (11 AM–12 PM, Commons 229) and 2nd

  <Title>Apply for University System of Maryland Student Regent</Title>
  <Tagline>Represent 170,000+ students on the system's governing board</Tagline>

    <div class="html-content">The <a href="https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/civiclife/posts/153582/4b765/8bc7924349b38024d455511fe94294b6/web/link?link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.usmd.edu%2Fabout_usm%2F" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">University System of Maryland</a> encompasses 12 institutions, including UMBC, and three regional higher education centers. It employs more than 17,000 faculty members and 19,000 staff members, and owns almost 1,000 buildings. Its annual operating budget is more than $7 billion. There are more than 170,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at its various institutions.<div><br></div>

Please also pass the information along to friends who may be interested. The Student Regent will serve from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028, including as the voting Student Regent in 2027-2028. All applicants should be planning to graduate in spring 2028 or later.</div>
