Dr. Mejdulene B. Shomali, Assistant Professor in Gender, Women's, + Sexuality Studies, was named one of the Woodrow Wilson Foundation's Career Enhancement Fellows for 2019-2020.
The Career Enhancement Fellowship provides career development opportunities to selected faculty fellows with promising research projects. During her year-long sabbatical, Dr. Shomali will be working on the manuscript for her first book, "Moving Femininities: Queer Critique and Transnational Arab Culture".
