Governor Larry Hogan extended the July 4 holiday an extra day by closing state government offices on July 5, 2019. Per the 2019 UMBC Holiday Schedule, July 5 had been identified as a campus closure in observance of the state's holiday closure on Christmas Eve in 2018.
As a result, the Human Resources Department has updated the 2019 Holiday Schedule to reflect the Governor's closure for July 5 on December 24, 2019 (Christmas Eve). Please share the attached, updated schedule with your departmental employees.
