We are pleased to announce this year’s open enrollment for State of Maryland benefits will be online in SPS Workday from October 15 – November 14, 2019. During this time, employees can make changes online to their health benefits for a January 1, 2020 effective date. Learn more at our Annual Health Benefits Fair on Wednesday, October 2 in the University Center Ballroom from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Employees are encouraged not to wait until Open Enrollment to login to SPS Workday for the first time. Tips and instructions are below.
Tips to Successful Online Enrollment in SPS Workday:
•Login using your SPS ID & Temporary Password
•Review your current benefits in SPS Workday
•Make changes in SPS Workday (remember to add FSA for 2020!)
•Review the 2020 Health Benefits Guide & Rates
•For those who need assistance, we encourage you to register to attend an Open Enrollment computer lab session

Employees currently enrolled in health benefits will receive packets within their departments this week. Packets will contain a benefits guide, instructions for SPS Workday, and your SPS ID information.
